Courtney is working toward a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Texas. She previously earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas. Courtney has worked with children, adolescents, and adults of various backgrounds and identities. Clinical areas of focus have included depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and emotional/behavioral dysregulation.
Courtney believes in a safe, non-judgmental therapy space and in guiding clients toward a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Courtney’s approach is integrative and pulls from a variety of different theoretical orientations, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In Courtney’s free time, she enjoys reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.
