Ashley is pursuing her doctorate in counseling psychology with a family emphasis from the University of North Texas. She has previously earned master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas. Ashley has experience working with individuals from early childhood into adulthood across various cultural, ethnic, sexual, and gender identities. Her clinical experience includes trauma, attachment injuries, ADHD struggles, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and LGBTQ+ identity development. She has also conducted family therapy to promote healthy communication and connection in romantic, caregiver-child, and sibling relationships.
Ashley believes her clients are the authors of their lived experiences and fosters therapeutic relationships built on safety, trust, and authenticity. Her integrative therapeutic approach invites the client to play an active role in collaboratively building a safe space to process the past and move towards a fulfilling future. She is passionate and committed to helping those she serves. In Ashley’s free time, she enjoys spending time in nature (hiking, kayaking, fishing), binge-watching a great show, and playing board games.
